Saturday, September 26th, 9:00 AM at Entrance to the Boat Dock
The Silverado on the Brazos Social Committee will be hosting a “Walk Where You Are” benefiting the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. It will take place on Saturday, Sept. 26th at the entrance to the boat dock (corner of Cactus Rio Dr. & Tahoe Lane) starting at 9 a.m. All residents, their friends, and family are welcome! The Walk will be approximately 1-1/2 miles and end at the Pavilion for drinks and snacks.
You can join our team, the Silverado Hooves and Hooters, by registering at http://www.komen.org/nationalwalk. Just create an account if this is your first Walk, or log in if you registered last year. Donations are accepted once you register, or you can just donate on the same website (just be sure to select the Silverado Hooves and Hooters team).
If you’d like a team t-shirt, they are $25 each and come in sizes Small to 3XL. Please reach out to Nanette at 817-694-9077 or nanettestockstill@gmail.com. The deadline to order is this Friday, Sept. 10th.
